This October, Vetri is looking forward to our upcoming exhibition, LIGHT 2023. Opening October 27 from 5–8 pm, LIGHT 2023 showcases a curated selection of sculptural lighting designs created by artists. Crafted from glass, porcelain, and metal, this exhibition features new work by Andi Kovel/Esque Studio, Grace Whiteside/Sticky Glass, Shea Bajaj/Modern Verve, and Nathan Sambar/Monterey Glassworks.
Esque Studios takes a boldly inventive approach, creating modern lighting pieces that push the boundaries of form and technique with avant-garde creativity. Sticky Glass reimagines contemporary pendant lights, exploring the fluidity of glass with soft bubbles and spikey embellishments in pastel hues. Modern Verve creates timeless, modern designs using porcelain, brass, and nickel alloy with a commitment to environmental sustainability. Monterey Glasswork explores an understated, elegant aesthetic with monochromatic ellipse-shaped glass pendants and table lights. All of these artists give us a fresh and imaginative take on contemporary lighting design that we can’t wait to share with you.
Please join us for the opening reception of LIGHT 2023 as part of the Downtown Artwalk on Friday, October 27, from 5–8 pm. Artists will be present!
In addition to our October opening, we will also be hosting a Saturday Open House on Saturday, November 4, from 2–4 pm. Come visit us and start your holiday shopping early!
