Welcome to ESQUE's New Home
Embracing Change, Expanding Light
Change. It’s something I think about every single day in the studio. To make glass is to accept transformation - from sand to liquid, light to color, movement to form. I’ve spent decades chasing that magic moment where heat meets air and something completely new is born. So it only feels right that we keep living that same philosophy beyond the furnace too.
Today, I’m thrilled to share that ESQUE has a new digital home - a fresh, more fluid website built to carry our work, ideas, and community into the future. This isn’t just a tech update; it’s a continuation of what we’ve always done: exploring, evolving, saying yes to the unknown.
Why We Decided to Move
Over the years, our little corner of the internet has seen a lot of love. It became a gallery, a journal, a place for connection. But like any craft, it needed room to grow. I started feeling that our digital space didn’t fully capture what we put into each piece; that rhythm, glow, and tactile experience that happens when glass and light talk to each other.
So, we decided to move ESQUE to a new platform that could hold that energy more completely. Something more flexible, more beautiful, and easier for anyone to explore - whether you’re here to collect a piece, peek behind the scenes, or just get lost in the glow for a while.
Building Something That Feels Like Us
I wanted this new site to feel like walking into a studio: light everywhere, color reflecting from every surface, a sense that something is always in motion. We worked hard to make it easy to move through, easier to connect, and much more visually true to what we do every day.
There’s more space for big photographs; to actually see the breath in the glass. We’ve pulled together our past collections, current work, and some of the collaborations I’m proudest of, so you can journey through the whole evolution of ESQUE in one place.
And honestly? It just feels better. More aligned, more alive.
Change as Part of the Art
I’ve always believed that embracing change is part of being an artist, a human. Nothing stays molten forever; it’s the cooling, the fixing, the reshaping that gives life its form. Moving to this new website was one of those moments of letting go. It was time to release the old tools, the previous rhythms, and make space for something new.
This is how I see growth, not as abandoning where you came from, but as deepening your ability to connect. That’s what I hope this new version of ESQUE will do. It’s built to reach more people, to make our art more accessible, and to bring a wider audience into the world of blown glass - a medium that’s as fragile as it is eternal.
Sharing More Than the Work
One thing I’m genuinely excited about is being able to share more stories. This platform gives us space to talk about our process, our collaborations, our experiments - all the messy, beautiful, sometimes chaotic parts of being artists working with such a wild and unpredictable material.
Expect more behind-the-scenes glimpses, notes from the studio, close-ups of works in progress, and maybe a few reflections on art, sustainability, and fire. Glass blowing is both an ancient craft and a metaphor for modern creativity: it's about breath, energy, and trust. To me, having a platform that can carry that energy means everything.
Looking Forward with Gratitude
This move also marks something personal for me; a chance to step back and realize how much ESQUE has evolved. What started as a collaboration in experimentation has grown into a community of makers, collectors, and supporters who genuinely care about this craft and what it represents.
Every message, every commission, every shared photo of a piece in your home - it all reminds me that art is connection. And this website, to me, is a bridge. Between material and meaning, between the studio and the world.
Come Explore the New Space
So, I invite you, all of you who’ve followed ESQUE, who’ve supported me through every phase of my creative life to explore the new site. Wander through it, stay a while, see what catches your eye. I hope it feels like standing in front of the furnace with us for a moment, watching something molten turn to light.
We made this space for you and with hope that it will help bring our shared appreciation for glass blowing to more people than ever before.
Thank you for growing with ESQUE.
With steady hands, a little bit of rock & roll, and a ton of gratitude,
– Andi
