Lump Bowl

Celebrating the beauty of imperfection and the artisan's hand, the Lump Bowl is a tactile, sculptural vessel born from intuitive shaping and deliberate irregularity. Each piece begins as a hollow form blown into a spherical bubble, then sucked inward at the top to create a functional bowl shape. While the glass is still warm and malleable, the sides are pressed with hand-held cork pads, creating organic dents, divots, and lumps that render every bowl uniquely expressive.

After shaping, the entire surface is sandblasted to achieve a satin finish—soft to the touch and gentle to the eye. The result is a vessel that invites interaction, its undulating contours offering visual and tactile interest from every angle.
