Beaker-Esque

A playful homage to scientific glassware reimagined at monumental scale, the Beaker interprets laboratory aesthetics with artisan craftsmanship and exaggerated proportion. Each piece is hand-blown with extraordinary thickness, transforming utilitarian form into sculptural statement. The signature gradations and markings are created through the Swedish Graal technique.

The process begins with a Graal blank, a small clear cup onto which high-temperature markers are applied by hand. The marked blank is reheated, picked up in the glory hole, and encased with multiple gathers of molten glass. As layers are added and the form is shaped into the final beaker silhouette, the marker drawings become trapped within the glass—distorted, magnified, and suspended in dimension. No two pieces share identical markings, ensuring each Beaker carries its own visual signature.

• Care: Your Beaker should be hand-washed with warm soapy water and gently hand dried with a non-abrasive towel to limit any soap residue.
