The Ghost Vase is glassmaking distilled to its purest element—motion and gravity. Each vase is formed with an intentionally off-center gather, a fresh layer of molten glass added to the top, then left completely untouched by tools. The piece’s final expression is shaped only by heat and the force of gravity, freezing the fluid motion of glass in time as it slumps and pools into its unique base.
Finished with a matte satin sandblasted surface, the vase becomes almost spectral—its soft opacity gently distorting the contents and blurring the interior, much like a memory seen through fog. With each piece, the drama of molten glass and chance is transformed into a collectible vessel for flowers or contemplation.
